The Marine Biological Laboratory is committed to prioritizing the health of the MBL and local communities while sustaining our distinctive approach to education, research, and collaboration.

Per the CDC, if an individual becomes ill with a respiratory virus, the updated guidance recommends that they stay home and away from others. The recommendations suggest returning to normal activities when, for at least 24 hours, symptoms are improving overall, and if a fever was present, it has been gone without use of a fever-reducing medication. Once a person resumes normal activities, they are encouraged to wear a well-fitting mask for the next five days to curb disease spread.
